Ultimate
Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest-growing sports globally. Its a distinctive non-contact team sport, combining elements of many different sports like American Football, Basketball and Netball. The concept is very simple, catch the disc in your opponents end-zone to score a point.

You may not move when holding the disc, so must complete passes between teammates all the way up the pitch whilst the other team tries to intercept the passes.

Defenders do not have to catch the disc to intercept passes, they merely have to stop a pass from completing, which can result in extremely athletic plays from both the offence and the defence as players try to be the first to the disc in any way possible.

Ultimate is played primarily on grass, but also indoors and on the beach!
Spirit Of The Game
What sets Ultimate apart from any other sport is that there are no referees! Ultimate is the only International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognised sport to be self-officiating and promote Spirit Of The Game (SOTG); this means players know the game and rules inside out and understand the meaning of fair play.

All players are responsible for administering and adhering to the rules. Ultimate relies upon a Spirit of the Game that places the responsibility for fair play on every player. It is trusted that no player will intentionally break the rules; thus there are no harsh penalties for breaches, but rather a method for resuming play in a manner which simulates what would most likely have occurred had there been no breach.
Highly competitive play is encouraged, but should never sacrifice the mutual respect between players, adherence to the agreed-upon rules of the game, or the basic joy of play.
